Talking Snake Wallpaper Sample

2025, Woodcut, water-based on paper, 18x24.

This physical surface design, my first experiment in wallpaper, features a repeating triangular motif of a snake atop a rock pile in complementary blue and orange. Alternating and inverting the design upside down created a pattern inspired by an African American folklore of the talking snake.
